During the summer, we spend almost all of our free time out in the yard or on the deck. (Weather permitting, of course!) I will set up my "office" on the deck, and the kids will play for hours and hours in the yard while I work. Sophie and Xander found this giant watermelon to be very amusing. They especially love the fact that water sprays from several different places, making this a fun way to get soaked. 

One of their favorite things to do is chase each other, or their friends, around the ball while singing a silly song. The last one to touch the sprinkler ball once the song ends is the loser. 

Simple, but good, clean summer fun.
