My Review of the 7/8ct Triple Heart Shaped Amethyst and Diamond Ring in Silver :

The awesome folks at SuperJeweler.com sent me this pretty 7/8ct Triple Heart Shaped Amethyst and Diamond Ring in Silver to review. I happen to prefer white metals, and Amethyst is one of my favorite stones, so I was very excited! This is the perfect ring for me to wear on my right hand, since my wedding and engagement rings are pretty "blinged out".

My ring arrived quickly, and packaged in a pretty little box, complete with a ribbon. It also included a lifetime guarantee card, so if my stones come loose or my setting becomes damaged, I can have these problems fixed. I love a company that stands behind the quality of their products that way. It definitely gives me ease of mind while shopping!

The ring itself is beautiful Now don't get me wrong, my first impression was that it's a bit dainty and understated. Then I remembered that it has a total carat weight of 7/8 between 3 heart shaped stones. You have to remember, I am used to looking at my wedding set, which has well over 6 carats of diamonds in it, with the center stone being 2.5 carats on its own. So comparing other jewelry to my wedding set is just unfair. (For those looking for majorly blinged-out diamond rings, SuperJeweler.com carries those, too!)

Anyway, the 7/8ct Triple Heart Shaped Amethyst and Diamond Ring in Silver is actually a really nice size for everyday wear, and is very feminine in its detail. The ring is made of sterling silver, and has 2 beautiful, purple amethysts. There are also some diamond accents, which are I/J in color and I2 clarity. (This is pretty standard for smaller accent stones.)

The setting is very secure, and my stones don't wiggle or wobble at all. This is great, since I don't have to worry about losing a stone while I am out and about.

The color of the amethysts is a nice purple, although it's not as dark as I expected. However, it's not a cheap, washed-out looking purple, either. For the price of the ring, the quality is very, very nice. I also love the thickness of the band. It's on the thinner side, but not flimsy at all. This makes the ring very comfortable, since it doesn't feel bulky.

Overall, I am quite impressed by SuperJeweler.com. My ring is absolutely gorgeous, and I have gotten several compliments about how pretty it is. I have spent quite some time browsing their website, and I have found a ton of other items to put on my jewelry wish list. I especially love their diamond tennis bracelets!
