I am so happy to be back in NE Ohio. Not only do I love my hometown for it's unique charm and small town feel, I also love the fact that there is a lot to do here for families.
Now that nicer weather is on its way (I hope) one of the things I am really looking forward to is getting out with the kids and going to our awesome outdoor water park. It has a couple of great swimming pools, a lazy river, and even some massive water slides. Of course for Sophie and Xander, there are some really fun toddler areas, too!
Of course going to the water park also means squeezing myself into a swim suit. Yuck. I have some pretty major body image issues, especially since having kids, and I dread bathing suit season. It seems that most bathing suits are either way too revealing for a woman in her 30's, or they just don't flatter anyone except for those "stick insect women" that grace the covers of magazines. Sigh... So while I am excited and looking forward to doing all the things that summer in NE Ohio has to offer, I am certainly not thrilled about wearing a swimsuit.
So when I got the opportunity to review the modest swimwear from Hapari, I breathed a sigh of relief. I am already familiar with these super high-quality suits, and I love the fact that they're made for real women who may not have supermodel physiques. (Yes, even those of us with belly pooches and stretch marks!) The folks at Hapari offer trendy swimwear that is cute but also doesn't let everything hang out, if you catch my drift. I feel good wearing Hapari swimwear because I can feel confident and classy without feeling over-exposed.
Here are just a few of my favorite swimsuits from Hapari. Aren't they adorable!?
Overall, I think Hapari is just amazing. Their suits are very well made, and they're vibrant, fresh, and very comfortable. I am a big fan of tankinis. With Hapari, you can mix and match tops and bottoms, which is also a huge plus for me. I don't like brief style bottoms because I don't want my behind showing, so I love their skirted and sarong options. They're very flattering and not "old lady-ish" in the slightest. That's right...These swimsuits don't look like the dreaded "Mom Suits".
So if you're like me and the idea of wearing a swimsuit doesn't exactly make you jump for joy, be sure to check out the modest swimwear at Hapari. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
