***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Do you love to travel? (I know with the winter we've had here in NE Ohio, I have been constantly daydreaming about warm, tropical weather, white sandy beaches, and of course, lots of sunshine!) I get the opportunity to travel on occasion for the blog, and have experienced some pretty amazing things...Walking the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of Iron Man 3 and interviewing Gwyneth Paltrow, hanging with Jordin Sparks in NYC, and of course we can't forget my time in "The Real Whirled" house in gorgeous St. Joseph, Michigan! Oh, and getting to hang at the luxurious Langham Huntington Pasadena with the pups that star in the Beverly Hills Chihuahua movies was a blast, too! But traveling can come with some challenges. My trips are generally only 2-3 days, so I try and pack as lightly as possible. I usually only bring one carry-on bag, and that's it. Of course fitting everything into my bag can be daunting, as can the climate changes I experience when I head to places like LA. So travel-friendly fashion is an absolute must, in my humble opinion. I look for modern, fashionable clothing that can withstand the many demands of traveling, while still looking great. That's where Anatomie Style saves the day. This brand of high-fashion clothing is not only chic and stylish, it's designed specifically for those who love to jet-set. That's right...Travel-friendly fashion that is functional and runway worthy! Haven't heard of Anatomie before? Allow me to introduce you to this amazing brand! About Anatomie :The brainchild of Kate and Shawn Boyer, Anatomie, is a designer fashion brand. The collection was created with today’s travel women in mind and encompasses the areas of high-performance wear to modern designer travel wear, as well as sportswear. Kate describes her creations as sophisticated and sexy, just like the women who wear them. Anatomie’s collection draws inspiration from the most highly-regarded European fashion houses, and is designed to flatter the female form in a way that bespeaks class, elegance and style. Anatomie’s formative period dates back nearly a decade to the time when Kate traveled from her native Hungary to the southern French town of Montpelier to pursue an MBA in International Trade. It was there that the former gymnast secured a position as a fitness instructor as a means to finance her university degree. Kate then began training a group of teenage girls for the French Aerobic Championships, which is a highly coveted title they won and held for three consecutive years. For competitions, Kate outfitted her young gymnasts in attire she had designed initially to wear herself. Kate and Shawn first met in Miami, where he was designing fashion apparel for hard-to-fit athletic men. The creative couple has since designed collections for Elite Models, Fashion Sport, Cigarette Offshore Racing, and Lamborghini just to name just a few. Anatomie’s guiding philosophy has always been functional fashion. The foundation of their collection is high-performance designer French and Italian fabrics that are durable enough to meet the demands of extreme sports. Anatomie translates those fabrics into a sophisticated sexy silhouette that is minimalist, durable and ultra-modern. Sounds pretty great, right? I absolutely love the styles offered by Anatomie. They have something for everyone, regardless of taste. Many of their items are quite basic which allows for maximum versatility, but there are also a ton of options with feminine details like lace and ruching. Here are some of my top picks from Anatomie : Our Review of the Merika Wind Breaker :The awesome folks at Anatomie Style sent me one of their garments to check out for myself. I had very high hopes since I adore the vast majority of their collection. I could spend hours drooling over their Spring Collection. I received the Merika Wind Breaker. I have to admit in the name of honesty and full-disclosure, I am not at all crazy about this style. It's probably the only item they carry that I just do not like. This is definitely not something I would have chosen for myself, since I have never been a huge fan of wind breakers in general. I am not a fan of the feel of them, or of the overly shiny appearance. That's just my personal opinion, and not at all representative of the quality of this brand. (Trust me here...The quality is amazing!) That being said, I was very impressed by the quality of the garment. It is extremely light weight, and is very versatile. The Merika features a removable hood, and has a zipper closure. It is also very well made, and durable enough to become a travel staple. I also love the fact that this jacket is designed to flatter a woman's shape more than traditional wind breakers commonly do. It's not boxy feeling at all, and would look wonderful with some skinny jeans or leggings and some killer boots. Another thing I liked about the Merika is the fact that it's a flattering length. This jacket falls to about mid-thigh, so it can easily conceal any problem areas like muffin-tops or behinds. This style is one that can complement any woman's unique shape. While I may not have cared for the review item I received, I am thrilled that I discovered Anatomie Style. They have so many absolutely gorgeous clothing styles that are so unique. Who would have thought that travel clothing could be versatile, functional, and oh-so-stylish? The next time I get an invitation to a fabulous press event, I know where I will be shopping! Definitely check them out! I am willing to bet that you'll fall in love, too! How to Connect :You can check out the awesomeness that is Anatomie Style on their website.

I love the cozy top but the jacket looks like a trash bag. What were they thinking?!?

I appreciate your honesty! I hate when bloggers love everything about every product they review! I don't like the windbreaker either - Im not against windbreakers in general, I just don't like shiny jackets. I like some of their other stuff, but it is way too expensive for me!
