You might recall that recently, I rocked my Organic Cotton prAna gear at my city's Oktoberfest celebrations. I wore an adorable dress and sweater coat, both in warm, fall tones and made with clean, Organic Cotton. Not only was my outfit seasonal and chic, it was also sustainably made, which happens to matter a lot to me.

As an activist and a Mom, I care about the planet we leave behind for future generations. We've done a lot of damage to Mother Earth, but it's never a bad idea to try and turn it around with more eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyles.

That's why I love prAna. Not only can I find fashion-forward, trendy clothing that's perfect for my busy lifestyle, I can also feel good knowing that by choosing environmentally conscious brands such as prAna, I am doing my part to help create a healthier environment in general.

In addition to Organic Cotton, prAna also has a fantastic selection of Hemp clothing. Hemp is one of my absolute favorite materials, and I love how soft it is, and the way it keeps me cool in warmer weather. Hemp is moisture-wicking, and is also naturally anti-microbial, meaning it actually repels bacteria, which helps keep you cleaner. (This is one thing I loved when I was cloth diapering my kids. We always LOVED the Hemp inserts!) Hemp, a non-psychoactive cousin of the Cannabis plant, is super sustainable, taking weeks rather than years to replenish, too. It's really a miracle plant that can be used in so many ways, including in fashion!

Check out the brief video below to learn more about why Hemp is the perfect choice when choosing your Fall fashions this season:
Sounds pretty awesome, right? Choosing sustainable fashion isn't only the responsible thing to do, it's also easier to do now than ever before, as more and more brands are recognizing the value of organically sourcing the materials they need for production.

prAna has been leading the way for years, and has a fabulous reputation in the fashion industry. Their clothing isn't only sustainable, it's also chic, trendy, and luxurious. Whether you're heading to the Yoga Studio, on a hike to enjoy the fall foliage, or even out on a date night, the folks at prAna have all your fashion needs covered.

I recently received some awesome cooler weather Hemp fashions from prAna to check out for myself. Included were the Exposition Jacket and the Pammy Beanie. Both pieces are perfect for fall and winter, and both include sustainable Hemp fabrics!

The Exposition Jacket is very warm and soft, made from a Hemp/Recycled Polyester blend. This quilted, fleece jacket offers a relaxed fit, which is perfect for layering. It's also lined with a super-soft, plaid flannel throughout. This double-breasted design has rubber coated snaps, which stay secured quite well, even if you're being physically active. I absolutely love, love, LOVE this jacket, and I've gotten so many compliments on it already!

The Pammy Beanie is a must have here in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Our winters get frigid and cold, and proper protection from the elements is very important when heading outside in freezing temperatures. The Pammy is also made from a Hemp/Recycled Polyester blend, which has a really nice feel to it. This beanie is not only super cute, it's also incredibly warm and durable. This isn't a flimsy hat at all, and has some decent weight to it. It can be paired with just about any outfit, as it's got a beautifully neutral, classic look.
I've been rocking my prAna Hemp clothing and accessories everywhere lately. I even wore these pieces during a recent family outing to the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We visited the Virginia Kendall area, and even explored the Ritchie Ledges. Check out my pics above. It's really a stunning place to visit, and I highly recommend checking it out if you're ever in the NE Ohio area!

Overall,  I'm totally digging prAna's Hemp fashions. Not only do they have tons of sustainable choices sure to flatter any body type, these pieces are durable enough to last for many years. The quality is phenomenal, and the functionality fits right into my busy lifestyle.

As usual, prAna nails it! And Hemp, though. You can never, ever go wrong with Hemp. Be sure to take a look at what prAna has to offer. These garments would make the perfect Holiday gifts this season!
