***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way Many of us, myself included, equate food with happy memories. Whether it be my Grandma's delicious chicken burgers or lasagna, the 5 star food at that fancy restaurant my husband took me to to surprise me, or even comfort foods like homemade mac and cheese, food plays a major part in our lives. With both Father's Day and the 4th of July right around the corner, many of us are scrambling to find yummy snacks and gifts to give. After all, celebrating with family and friends is such a blessing, and deserves something extra special....That's where the gourmet popcorn from G.H. Cretors come in. You see, G.H. Cretors offers more than just run of the mill popcorn. This great company specializes in giving you a flavor experience rather than just a snack. With some very inventive flavors like Chicago Mix (Caramel corn and cheesy popcorn, all in the same bag!), or Caramel Nut Crunch, popcorn is transformed from ordinary to simply extraordinary! And at G.H. Cretors, it's all about the good stuff. It's all natural, so there aren't any scary sounding, impossible to pronounce ingredients to be found. As a mom, this scores major brownie points with me! Here are some quick facts that put G.H. Cretors a step above the rest:
As you can see, these are not tiny, sample sized bags of popcorn. No, siree. These are full-sized bags of delectable goodness, which means (unfortunately) I had to share! We really loved all of the flavors. The Chicago Mix was a big surprise. I had never heard of combining cheddar cheese popcorn with caramel corn! It was actually pretty darn perfect. Perhaps even a food of the Gods. The flavor profile was sweet, salty, and cheesy, all at once. Don't knock it till you've tried it. This is truly amazing....and maybe a little addictive! The other caramel varieties were also very tasty. Just the Caramel Corn is pretty self-explanatory. Simple is good. Caramel Nut Crunch is also fantastic, since it pairs the wonderful caramel corn with whole roasted nuts. Some of the nuts are actually "glued" to the popcorn with delicious caramel...Yum! My favorite, of course, was the Just the Cheese Corn. What can I say...I am a bona fide cheese freak! I have had loads of cheesy popcorn in my life, and this definitely ranks among the best! The popcorn itself is plump, airy and crunchy. The cheese flavor is tangy, sharp, and a bit salty. The cheesy coating was evenly distributed throughout the bag, leaving no kernal untouched. Doesn't this look positively drool-worthy?! I wish there was a way to convey just how unbelievable the flavor of this popcorn is, but words simply cannot do it justice. Overall, we really loved trying the many varieties from G.H. Cretors. This popcorn is the perfect snack for young and old alike! Since it's all natural, I feel good about letting my kids indulge just a bit, too. (And as many of you know, I am known as the "Junk food nazi" in my home!) G.H. Cretors would be the perfect addition for your summer gatherings, and is sure to make everyone come back for seconds...and thirds...and...well, you get the picture!
