First of all, since many of you are probably surprised, YES I am now a redhead. I stripped my hair, then used some Henna and topped that with Manic Panic. I had always wanted to try henna, since it's natural, chemical-free, and eco-friendly. So my locks are very, very red, but I like it. (And my teen gave me massive cool mom points, too!)

Speaking of things that are eco-friendly, recently I learned about a great brand of eyewear that is not only fashionable, but green, too! dizm Eyewear was born in Hermosa Beach in 2009. A group of friends decided that they wanted to create a stylish line of eyewear that fuses art and technology while focusing on the environment.

Our Review of the Eco Mary Jane Polarized Sunglasses :

The awesome folks at dizm Eyewear generously sent me a pair of their Eco Mary Jane polarized sunglasses. These are red with white arms, and have smoke colored, scratch-resistant polarized lenses. Here are some quick specs about the Eco Mary Jane:

Handmade, 100% renewable and biodegradable frame
Polarized, impact- and scratch-resistant CR39 lens
100% UV protection
Durable stainless steel optical hinges
Prescription ready, optical quality frames
Minimal, recyclable, 70% post-consumer recycled packaging
Dual-purpose 100% renewable cotton storage/cleaning bag

My glasses arrived very quickly, and the first thing I noticed was the fact that even the packaging is stylish! They came in a cute eco-friendly box, and are nestled inside a cotton storage bag.

Of course the Eco Mary Jane sunglasses are absolutely stunning as well. They feature handmade, biodegradable frames, and are very durable. I just love the vibrant red in contrast to the white arms. These are definitely feminine, flirty, and fun!

These glasses also feature very durable stainless steel optical hinges. This scores major brownie points in my home, since my toddlers tend to destroy flimsy sunglasses in about 2 seconds flat! Finally, Mommy has a pair of sunglasses that are super-chic and can withstand my children grabbing at them.

Overall, I am definitely loving my Eco Mary Jane sunglasses from dizm Eyewear. Not only do they look great, they're also very comfortable to wear. The polarized, smoke colored lenses definitely help cut sun glare while driving, too. Add to that the fact that these glasses are biodegradable in made in an environmentally responsible manner, and you've got a winning product! I would definitely recommend dizm Eyewear to anyone who wants to have the hottest styles in eyewear while reducing their carbon footprint. Who says eco-friendly can't be fabulous!?

Boy, it's hard to choose a style, they're all really good. I think I'd go with the Eco Herbie Gold Tortoise Shells, because they'd fit my face well and go with my light skin and light brown hair. I love that they are polarized!
