***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** My kids love nurturing and caring for others. Whether it's their baby dolls, our pets, or even all of their stuffed animals, Sophie and Xander really enjoy feeding, mending, or comforting them. So naturally, they absolutely love, love, LOVE Doc McStuffins on Disney Junior. Sophie even has a Doc McStuffins wardrobe and says she'd like to be a doctor when she grows up. Recently, we received the newest DVD in the Doc McStuffins line, "School of Medicine", to check out for ourselves. Along with the DVD, we also received some very cute Doc McStuffins swag, including a fun floor puzzle, a watch, bracelets, and even a real Doc McStuffins watch! Sophie and Xander absolutely freaked when they saw all of these wonderful, Disney, Junior goodies! This DVD was so cute, and Doc McStuffins took on various medical roles. She was an optometrist helping her owl, Professor Hootsburgh, see clearly again, and also came to the rescue as a radiologist and a dentist. The thing I love the most about this series is that it teaches small kids about medicine in a way they can understand. What a great way to possibly help kids find their calling, don't you agree? And of course, this DVD also teaches about empathy and compassion, which are very important values to have, in my opinion. Sophie and Xander loved the latest DVD in the Doc McStuffins series. So much, in fact, that while Xander was taking a cat-nap, "Doc McSophie" decided she would perform some emergency surgery....on his nose. See the Doc McStuffins Band-Aid he's sporting there? Of course there was nothing wrong with his nose. No boo-boo's, no boogers...Nothing. But I was still thrilled to see Sophie caring for her baby brother rather than trying to kill him.
