My favorite memory was when my sister and I made a meal for our Daddy, and spent hours with him, reminiscing about the past, as well as speaking about present happenings and future plans for our families. His health was becoming poor and I know that it meant so much to him to have this time together.

I come from a large family. One year for Father's Day we kids were going to cook dinner on the grill for dad. We had everything well in hand until one of my brothers decided he would flip the burgers. One of them broke into pieces, slipped thru the grill and caught on fire pretty much charring the rest of the burgers. Luckily we had a stash of hot dogs in the fridge and saved the day. And Dad took over the grilling. :)
