Summer may be in full swing, but despite the hot temperatures outside, I still enjoy starting my day with a nice, steamy cup of coffee. Or a chilled one, depending on my mood. Regardless of how it's served, there's one thing I know for sure: If I don't have my coffee every day in one form or another, no one if going to be happy. Seriously, folks, I am a grumpified Zombie if I don't get my coffee.
Anyway, I am a huge fan of flavored coffees. French Vanilla...Toasted Hazelnut...Pecan Praline...Golden Caramel.....Are you drooling yet? There's nothing better than a nice, flavorful cup of coffee. Some of my favorites come from the folks at Community Coffee. ***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation has been provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.***
Community Coffee offers a wide variety of coffee, from ground coffee to single serve cups. (We like to keep both on hand here.) They also offer whole bean coffees, if you prefer to grind your own for the ultimate in freshness. Oh, and one of my favorite things about Community Coffee? They have a Military Match Program. When you purchase one of these special packages, the same package will be donated to a service member. How cool is that?!
I have been a fan of Community Coffee for quite some time. Their coffees are bold and flavorful, and are always very fresh tasting. Plus, I just have to love a brand that gives back and supports our military. My favorite uncle is a Lt. Col in the Air Force, and has served time in Afghanistan and Kuwait. Our brave service men and women definitely have a special place in my heart. If you're looking for a coffee that is sure to please even the pickiest of tastes, check out what Community Coffee has to offer. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Okay, so it's no secret that coffee is amazing to drink. Half of the world shares my love for this heavenly beverage.
Did you know you can cook with your favorite coffee, too? It's true! You can used coffee grounds as a rub for beef roasts, which is perfect for summer grilling. You can also use brewed coffee in a variety of dishes, including some amazingly tempting desserts. A little bit goes a long way, and everyone will wonder why YOUR dessert is so extraordinary.
I'd love to share one of my favorite "Coffee Recipes" with you all. It's super-simple, and utilizes boxed mixes. I know....I know....I usually cook from scratch. However, during the summer, I like to have some semi-homemade recipes on hand so I have more time to enjoy the sun and fun with my family. This Chocolate Cake is decadent, moist, and incredibly flavorful. The coffee? Well, we'll just call it the "secret ingredient". Don't leave it out, because the coffee literally takes this cake from ordinary to extraordinary.
