![]() My family has 3 dogs. One is my 12 year old's dog, Chloe, and the others are mine, a Shih-Tzu named Bear and a Yorkie named Trouble. (Yes, in case you're wondering, she does live up to her name!) We pretty much have to have small, hypoallergenic breed pups due to my severe animal allergies. My husband wishes we had a huge, monster dog like a Mastiff or a Great Dane, but he settles for my little purse dogs. I suppose any dog is better than none at all in his eyes. We love our fur-babies, even if they can be quite mischievous at times. After all, they are just puppies. Trouble is about 10 months old and Bear is only 3 and a half months old. They chew, they wrestle each other, and they race around the house like it's going out of style. But they're so stinking cute that we can't really get mad at them. They're just so adorable to watch! We enjoy snuggling up with our pups, and they make the perfect lap warmers on a chilly Ohio evening. I carry Bear and Trouble around with me a lot, and I enjoy giving belly rubs and ear scratches and they thank me with plenty of love and Doggie Kisses. (Just not on my face, please!) As the owner of small dogs, we know that they require different things than their larger canine cousins. That's why we get them food for small dogs. My dogs love Cesar dog food and treats, so when I received the opportunity to review the new Meaty Selects line, I knew my pups would be thrilled. New CESAR® Meaty Selects come in a resealable 10-ounce can bursting with tender meaty chunks. One can is enough to last Bear and Trouble about 2 days. (Maybe even longer if I mix it into their dry dog food.) Check out my puppies' reaction when I opened a can of Meaty Selects in the Porterhouse Steak flavor. They say a picture says a thousand words, and in this case, that saying is absolutely true! When transitioning from one food to another, please remember to introduce the new food gradually so as not to upset your dogs stomach. Food for dogs is not all made from the same ingredients, so care should be taken when introducing something new.
