![]() If you are anything like me, it can be difficult to get all of the proper nutrients your body needs to thrive. I happen to be a rather picky eater, so I know I am lacking in Omega3's and some other important vitamins. I don't eat seafood, ever...I mean at all. Seafood and I simply do not get along. One time at a friend's wedding, I unknowingly bit into a vile crab-stuffed mushroom and ended up crying, spitting it into my napkin, and then ran to the restroom to vomit. Yes, I really do detest seafood that much. So to get the Omega3's that are such a huge benefit of eating slimy, stinky, nasty fish, I take supplements. The problem with many Omega3 supplements is that they're horse-pills. I mean, fish oil supplements can be HUGE! On top of that, a lot of the fish-oil capsules I have taken in the past left me with an awkward and rather disgusting problem: Fish burps. It was almost ironic. I took the capsules so I wouldn't have to taste the fish, and I ended up tasting it anyway...Over and over...All day long. Ick! Another thing I know I don't get enough of are fruits. I love veggies, but fruits are not my favorite things in the world. I don't know why, but the acid found in many fruits gives me awful heartburn, so I just don't really eat much of it. I guess it also doesn't help that I much prefer savory flavors over sweets. I never really gave too much thought to nutrients I was missing until I was trying to conceive my daughter, Sophie. She is 2 now, and the good habit of taking vitamins is still something I do on a daily basis. That's why I was so excited to learn about ProNutrients, the new line of supplements by the makers of Centrum. (And we all know that Centrum is synonymous with quality!) What exactly is ProNutrients? ProNutrients is a new line of dietary supplements launched by the makers of Centrum multivitamins, and is formulated to naturally work with a multivitamin. The line includes Omega-3, Probiotic, and Fruit & Veggie—three supplements that support health and well-being. Each supplement is backed by the nutritional expertise of Centrum, identifying the right ingredients to take consumers’ nutrition to the next level.
Here's a bit more about each ProNutrients product:
In addition to the awesome benefits that can be had with the ProNutrients line, Centrum has also debuted Centrum Specialist™, a line of enhanced multivitamins that is aimed at specific health priorities adults want to target. Centrum Specialist multivitamins with specific benefits includes Prenatal, Vision, Energy and Heart. (Only Centrum Specialist Vision and Centrum Specialist™ Prenatal are new offerings. Centrum Specialist™ Heart is formally known as Centrum Cardio. Centrum Specialist Energy is formally known as Centrum Performance.) So even though I may not be the best of eaters, I know that I am still receiving all the right vitamins and nutrients when I rely on my Centrum products. I take several supplements everyday, and I truly believe that they help pick up the slack where my picky-eating lacks. You're never too young to think about proper nutrition, and with Centrum, they definitely help make it possible! I am probably lacking a lot of things. I have a sweet tooth and would eat nothing but desserts if I could.

I don't know what nutrients I'm lacking but I do know that I could use a good multi vitamin. I detest fruit, but love vegetables. I do eat seafood.

I would guess that I am lacking in calcium as I don't drink milk and have a hard time remembering to take a calcium supplement more than once a day and I know it is recommended that you take it twice a day.

I have to take prescription calcium because I'm lactose intolerant and have osteopenia; prescription niacin and OTC Omegas for my heart; and OTC vitamin C for gum disease -- the things you do when you get older ヅ *Thanks* for the giveaway!

I don't know which nutrients I am lacking exactly but I know my eating habits/diet isn't as good as it should be. I really need to take the time to plan out a well rounded diet for each meal each day.

I should take a vegetarian omega-3 supplement since I don't eat seafood. My eating habits are actually pretty good when it comes to eating lots of veggies and some fruits, but sweets and chocolate are my downfall!

I have tried everything, but I still have a vitamin D deficiency unless I take a supplement. I also could use more calcium in my diet. I appreciate all that vitamin companies do, especially those who recognize that everyone doesn't need everything.
