As the mom of a gay teen, I want to make sure that ALL of my children grow up valuing and appreciating other people, regardless of the differences there may be. By embracing different cultures and walks of life, it is my hope that my kids have beautiful relationships with people of all kinds. Love and friendship should see no color, gender, or ethnicity. We're all human, and while our outsides may be different, we're very much alike on the inside.
So when I learned about a wonderful line of multi-cultural dolls from The One World Doll Project, I was definitely excited. The Prettie Girls! Dolls come in every shade, and are from a variety of different countries. I love the fact that I can offer my daughter the chance to learn about and celebrate her global sisters through creative play.
These dolls are 11.5" tall, and can fit into all of your existing fashion doll clothing, should you want to change up their look a bit. They also feature long, silky hair and jointed limbs.
If you're looking for a fun way to teach children about inclusion, respect, and the value of hard work and friendship, I definitely recommend checking out The Prettie Girls!
