My husband will be the first to tell you, I am really particular when it comes to my pillows. In fact, I tend to make a "nest" around myself every single night. I am a side-sleeper, and I have to have a pillow under my head, in between my knees, and I need to be hugging one, too. My pillows have to be just right or I won't be able to get a good night's rest.

When I was pregnant? Well, perfect pillow placement was even more crucial. If you've been pregnant before, I am sure you can relate to the discomforts associated with creating humans.

Boppy, one of my absolute favorite infant brands, offers the perfect solution for expecting mamas who struggle to find that "Sweet Spot" every night when they hit the sack. The Boppy Custom Fit Total Body Pillow takes comfort to a whole new incredible level, during pregnancy and beyond!

This pillow is a 3-piece design. Yes, it is 3 separate pieces. To be honest, this kind of threw me off at first. Why would someone want a pillow that is made of more than one piece?!

Well, let me tell you, while it seemed strange initially, the 3-piece design is absolutely genius. You see, as a woman's body changes throughout pregnancy, the aches and pains change and shift, too. This means that different levels of support are needed for different body parts at different times. (Yes, I realize I just used the word "different" 3 times in one sentence.) The Boppy Custom Fit Total Body Pillow is completely customizable to suit your needs during your pregnancy journey.

Choose from: Head/Neck Support, Belly/Back Support, and Hip/Leg/Ankle Support. Extended length design provides support all the way down to your ankles, alleviating strain on hips.

How do you change it up? Simple! These 3 pieces easily attach to one another using velcro. It's very sturdy, too, and actually stayed intact overnight. I toss and turn quite a bit, so this is impressive.

This pillow is also washable for easy care.

As you can see from my pictures, I have a fight on my hands when it comes to this pillow. It's so incredibly comfortable that my teenager has tried to claim it for himself! Oh, our Yorkie, Trouble, likes to snuggle up on it, too. I can't blame the kid, though. This pillow absolutely rocks!

I may not be pregnant, but as a self-proclaimed "Pillow Snob", I have to admit I am pretty darn impressed with this pillow. It's extremely comfortable, and it's super-easy to find the exact comfort and support that my body craves after a long day. If this pillow is a God-send for me, I can only imagine how amazing it would be for someone who is expecting. This, my friends, is definitely a prenatal must-have!

Hi I recently dislocated my shoulder and just could not get comfortable with my regular pillows. One day I found two odd-shaped pillows at a local thrift shop. They were really soft and the fabric cover was really good quality. No labels but they were only 50 cents. I thought they went together and when I got home I found the velcro strips. BEST PILLOWS EVER for supporting injured areas. So I have been on a hunt to find out what they were and where they came from. YOUR blog has ended my search. I had found the two big pillows from the Boppy custom fit total body pillow (no little pillow). I am old (70+) and back when I was pregnant there were no such things as pregnancy pillows. Boppy should consider marketing these to seniors (who have aches and pains) or for injuries. Anyway thank you for solving my 'mystery' pillows. Wish I'd had them 50 years ago.
