![]() For many parents, bedtime can be a stressful time, particularly if your kids are all wound up and resisting sleep. In my home, this is usually the case with my 2 year old, Sophie. She is constantly on the go, and doesn't slow down until she crashes. Usually, she behaves just fine, but sometimes she gets incredibly fussy and cranky as she fights the urge to fall asleep. I have been trying for awhile to find natural, effective ways to relax her as bedtime approaches. Some of the things I do include a nice, soothing bath followed by a relaxing massage using Earth's Best Chamomile Sleepytime Lotion. This lotion is wonderful because it's made from 70% organic ingredients such as soothing chamomile and super-nourishing oat oil for soft, hydrated skin. It also contains no nasty ingredients, such as parabens, pthalates, mineral oils, petrolatum, artificial dyes or fragrances, and it's even sulfate-free. This hypoallergenic lotion is nice and creamy and absorbs quickly into the skin, providing superb hydration while the chamomile relaxes baby and gets them prepared for a nice long slumber. After a bath and soothing massage with Earth's Best Sleepytime Lotion, we snuggle up for storytime. Sophie loves being read to, and often falls asleep in my arms as we look through storybooks together. That's probably my favorite time of the day. It's rare that she slows down enough for prolonged cuddling now that she's a rambunctious toddler! For more info on Earth's Best products, you can check out their website.
