In all seriousness, though, I do have a very particular style when it comes to jewelry. Sure, fancy bling is nice. But there is such a thing as too much. My wedding rings have more than enough diamonds to last me a lifetime. (If you've ever seen my rings, you know I've got an ice rink over here.)
My favorite jewelry is more naturally-inspired, understated, and almost ethereal in appearance. I love clean designs that offer a dash of femininity and an air of tranquility. That's why I am absolutely, head-over-heels in love with the hand-crafted jewelry at Baroni Designs. They offer a wide variety of jewelry that is exactly my style. These guys literally hit the nail on the head!
My love affair with this amazing brand started about a year ago. I reviewed their gorgeous, Labradorite Daydreamer Necklace, which is my absolute favorite piece of jewelry to this day. (You can check that out HERE.)

Some of my Top Picks for Fall :
Check out the Manila Dunes Necklace :
The first thing I noticed when I received my package was the wonderful detail of not only the piece, but the packaging as well. This necklace came tucked away in a chic little pouch.(LOVE this!) It was also in a small, zip-lock style baggie and attached to a card. This is to keep the chain from tangling in transit. Don't you just HATE when delicate chains get tangled?! I know I do.... Anyway, the folks at Baroni package their jewelry very, very well so that it arrives to their customers in perfect condition.
The next thing I noticed was the stone. The Manila Dunes Necklace is made with a faceted aqua chalcedony pendant. This stone has a calming effect on the wearer, like taking a walk through the tranquil dunes. This stone is very interesting. It appears different colors in different lighting conditions and against different backgrounds. As you can see, in all of my photos, the color of this stone looks a bit different. The stone can appear a very light green, or more blue and green, depending on its surroundings. Pretty darn neat, if you ask me!
The necklace features an easy to operate clasp, and also has a cute little tag with the Baroni name. I love little details like that!
