<<h3 style="text-align: center;">Welcome to the Back to School Blast! Getting your family prepared to head back to school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way. 1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist - Backpack? Check. Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 list and add their name to the top. 2. Stock up on school supplies after school starts and everything is on clearance. You can get enough to last several years, and won't have to fight through the back to school shoppers. 3. Start school season bedtimes in early august. This gives kids a chance to get their sleep schedules back on track. 4.Look for great deals on Ebay for backpacks and other essentials. 5.Keep all records and documents in one place. This will make enrollment SO much easier! The Back to School Blast was organized by Mom Powered Media. Please take a moment to also visit our lovely co-hosts, whom without them great things such as these would not be possible: My Vegan Gluten-Free Life, Plum Crazy About Coupons, Capri's Coupons, Downshifting - Your Family, Your Home, Your Life, Jack of all trades, Master of Momâ„¢, Quick Tattletails, Mew Review and Iowa Mom. One lucky winner will receive a $1,000 Visa Gift Card!Giveaway ends August 15th at 11:59pm, open worldwide, ages 18+. If the winner resides outside of the US, they will receive Paypal cash. Try to help kids prepare - talk about going to school and read books about it, get them involved in the back to school supply shopping, and start the sleeping schedule early to get them on track.

Make friends with at least 2 other moms just in case there is an issue at school or emergency and one of you needs help.

My best back to school tip is to get as many back to school supplies as you can from the Walmart back to school sale, as they have very cheap prices on most supplies.

My tip: If your child is still on a Summer/later bedtime schedule, switch them to the earlier/School bedtime a week before school starts so they have time to adjust.

Start getting your kids up early two weeks before school starts. It's hard getting their internal sleep clocks adjusted.

My son has the most trouble transitioning back into school each year. So we start preparing him around now by looking for school supplies and talking about his school schedule. It seems to help make the first day back not as much of a shock.

Be prepared the night or two before the first days of school ! After a week or two, "depending on age" the kiddos will start to get into a better routine after all the summer fun, and will start getting their own things ready in there rooms for the next school day!!!

Buy things as you see them on sale and have most of it before school starts, then when you get the list you only need a few items and cost is spread out!

Shop thru-out the year for school supplies, that way you only have to get one or two items before school begins

If you find a great deal on some of their supplies, buy extra and keep it for next year. It really helps down the line.

Try to make sure your kid sits near the front of the classroom, kids who sit at the front always do better.
