***Disclosure: SheSpeaks/Lancôme sent me a bottle of DreamTone to review for this campaign, but all opinions and luminous skin are my very own.***
As a busy mom in her early 30's, I don't always have time to primp and pamper myself. Most days are spent with my long, thick hair whisked up into a messy bun or ponytail, and my daily uniform consists of comfy staples like yoga pants and super soft tops. I am most often at home with my kids, so there is no need to put on airs. My babies think their mommy is pretty no matter what. I can be wearing pajama pants and a peanut butter smeared sweatshirt and they look at me as if I were wearing the most glamorous ball-gown ever. (Gotta love the unconditional love of a child!)

Of course my own confidence doesn't quite match my babies' super-forgiving image of me. I have always suffered from major self-esteem issues, and have never thought I was pretty. I am usually the quiet girl in the corner at a party, sitting shyly, trying to remain as invisible as possible. I don't really know how to react to compliments when I receive them, and I often feel like I don't measure up. With today's often unrealistic standards of beauty, I know I am not alone in this. Still, I try and put my best face forward and look my best when my husband and I go out. Let's face it: When a woman looks good, she also feels good.

One of the best things a woman can do to make her everyday look extraordinary, regardless of her wardrobe choice, in my opinion? Have a few must-have skin care products that make your skin luminous, natural, and hydrated. A good skin care regiment is so important, especially as we age. I have an arsenal of products I turn to to make sure that even if I happen to be a train wreck covered in unidentifiable, sticky goo thanks to my littles, at least my skin looks great.

One of my absolute favorite products is Lancôme DreamTone. Yes, I received this product in exchange for my honest review, but let me assure you...Everything I am about to tell you is totally true, and while this is definitely a beauty splurge at $98 a bottle, it's an investment I will continue to make after my supply runs out. This is an expense I can totally justify, and I think my hubby will agree. He is loving the results as much as I am, and loves the fact that I am willing to wear less make-up with confidence.

Here is more info about Lancôme DreamTone, and how it can totally transform your look with very little effort:

DreamTone is the next generation in dark spot correction. This customized skin tone correcting serum is so powerful, 72% of women dare to bare their skin.* The new DreamTone is 3 barely-tinted serums formulated to visibly correct dark spots, color imperfections and give you a more even-looking skin tone. It comes in 3 serums customized for your skin tone: 1- Fair, 2 – Medium, 3 – Dark. (I chose a medium, since I have a slightly olive skin tone, dark eyes, and naturally dark hair. I do love rocking my red locks, though!)

This product should be used twice a day, in the morning and at night, underneath your favorite moisturizer. One I happen to love is Miracle Worker by Philosophy. Since DreamTone is a serum, it is highly concentrated with some super potent skin care magic. Since serums are so potent and absorb rapidly into the skin, a very small amount goes a long way. I use a pea-sized amount, which is plenty for my entire face.

Recently, there was a study conducted to get real results from real women, just like you. These ladies used DreamTone for an 8 week period, and the results were overwhelmingly positive.

IMMEDIATELY:
• 74% saw glowing skin*

7 DAYS:
• 70% noticed a more even skin tone*

4 WEEKS:
• 69% saw the appearance of dark spots reduced*

8 WEEKS:
• 78% saw color imperfections reduced*

*All results based on global self-assessments of women of multiple ethnicities in an 8-week study. 72% reflects 8 weeks of use.

Pretty impressive, right? I, too, have been enjoying DreamTone. I have been using it for about a month, and have definitely noticed some fantastic changes in my skin. The first thing I noticed was that my skin was smooth, supple and brighter. Soon after, I noticed that my skin tone was much more even. Old acne marks, which were pretty faint, basically disappeared. It also helped my dark circles and other discoloration fade to almost nothing. You know in the winter months or allergy season, the skin around the nose can get red and inflamed looking? This product even squashed that stubborn problem!

SheSpeaks and Lancôme recently challenged a group of bloggers, yours truly included, to use DreamTone and share a bare selfie. That's right...No make-up. This is not something I have ever been comfortable doing. In fact, I dislike having my photo taken at all, for any reason. (Remember, I do like remaining invisible, lol)

This photo was taken after only 2 weeks of use and before my recent Pancreatitis/Gall-Stones scare that landed me in the hospital for the past week. No serum was going to help me then, haha. I looked, and still do look, like death warmed over as I go through the painful healing process.

To my surprise, this photo didn't fill the pit of my stomach with dread. I am wearing absolutely no make-up whatsoever, and am not at all dressed up as you can see by my "That's What She Said" tee and fuzzy, worn-in cardigan. I didn't even bother doing anything with my hair. While I would have preferred to have the help of a little eyeliner, mascara, and my Lancôme Juicy Tubes lip gloss in Bronze Cocoa. Even without those "security blanket" options, I am delighted with the outcome. I don't look too shabby, and I have been told I look much younger than my 32 years! Now if THAT isn't a compliment, I don't know what is!

Overall, I am in love with Lancôme DreamTouch Serum. This has quickly become of of my must-have beauty staples. I love the way it makes my skin look, and it feels so soft to the touch. As always, Lancôme makes natural beauty appear effortless. Definitely a simple investment that can provide amazing results, even for moms like me who spend their days chasing around little whirlwinds of terror, also known as preschoolers. This would make an amazing stocking stuffer for all of the ladies on your Holiday shopping list this year. Or perhaps this could be a luxurious gift for yourself! Every woman deserves to pamper herself once in a while, right?
