After all, they are a part of the family, right? And we sure do love to spoil them with the best food, treats and toys. Our pets truly do live a pampered life, and we would not have it any other way.
In addition to my indoor pets, we also have our "Yard Crashers". This is a small family of feral cats that showed up one day a couple of months ago, and have decided to make our property their home. It was a mama and 2 kittens, but sadly, I fear the worst has happened to one of the babies. Lately, it's just been mama and one of the babies, along with what I am presuming is Daddy Cat. He and Mama seem awfully comfortable with each other, and baby loves him, too. You can read about our Yard Crashers HERE.

My teen included, even though he claims he is "too old" for kids' movies.
So when we learned about the newest feature, "Toy Story of Terror", I knew we just had to have it. I love horror movies, but sometimes, they tend to be a bit much for my preschoolers. So a scary twist on a favorite seemed like the perfect way to get my littles all geared up for Halloween! have LOADS of winners to announce! I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.*** My son, Kyle, just started high school this week. I don't know how that's even possible, considering his mother is so young and beautiful. (Obviously that's a joke.) I just can't believe how grown up my little boy is...Just the past few months alone have been very transformative. At the beginning of the summer, he was about an inch shorter than me and his voice was still cracking. Now, he literally towers over me and sounds like a man. Well, sort of.
Anyway, my little boy isn't so little anymore, and he's got the body odor to match. I never realized just how funkified a teen boy could be. It's like all of the raging hormones have gone right to my kid's armpits, and sometimes, you can smell him coming. Literally. Obviously, this won't do him any favors when it comes to meeting new people in a brand new school, and it certainly won't get him any dates. Now I could just tell my child that he smells like a sewer, but this won't help his confidence much. It's hard enough being a gay teen and the discrimination he faces due to his orientation. So rather than tell him that he's rancid, I decided to take a kinder, gentler approach. I presented Kyle with a package of amazing products from the folks at Old Spice as a back to school gift that's fit for a man-in-training. Welcome to the HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper Giveaway!
