No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Since I have 2 active toddlers at home, I really enjoy offering them activities that are both fun and educational. Sure, the kids love watching TV, but I really try and limit that and give them more hands-on ways to explore the world around them. We love taking Nature Walks, experimenting in the kitchen, and doing cute little art projects. My kids love being able to actually experience things using all 5 senses, and I love seeing the look of wonder on their faces as they learn new things. So when I got the opportunity to review the great children's science kits from The Young Scientists Club, I was very excited. There are several wonderful kits to choose from, such as Rainbow Science, Kitchen Science, and the Wonders of Nature Kit. These kits feature some of kids' favorite characters from Clifford the Dog and The Magic School Bus, so it definitely adds to the fun and keeps kids engaged while learning. After all, learning should be fun, right?! Whew! It's Monday! And today is going to be a very, very busy day for me as I cram to get ready for the Iron Man 3 Hollywood premiere! (Yes, I am still pinching myself!) Anyway, I have some very lucky winners to announce! All winners have been notified via e-mail and have until this FRIDAY to reply. (Yes, I know...Longer than the usual 48 hours, but I will be out of town.) Please check your spam folders! Congrats to my winners, and as always thanks so much to those who entered!

She has a very distinct style, and will even protest if I pick the wrong color outfit for her to wear on any given day. Sophie is outspoken about what she likes, and she has the uncanny ability to accessorize. She tries to claim my scarves, hair accessories, and even my purses, as her own. She even matches them to her outfits. (I think I am going to have a little shopping monster in a few years! Better hide our credit cards now!) So when the folks at Flying Buttress approached me about their exciting new line of handbags, tech sleeves, and lunchboxes for girls and tweens, I was very excited. Sure, Sophie is a bit young for their targeted market, but my little diva is 3 going on 16. Multiple birth is a joyous occasion that is understood and cherished by Little Me. As many of you know, my husband and I took the plunge last August and bought our first home! We moved from Virginia (good riddance!) to my quaint hometown in NE Ohio. Our home is almost 100 years old and full of charm and character. Of course, it does need some updating and some work. Since we paid for our home in full, we have been able to do things bit by bit to maximize our investment, and make our new house truly feel like home. Here are some great tips that every new homeowner should know. These tips will not only save you some potentially costly headaches, they will also save tons of money in the long run! ***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. As always, all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** I have to admit, I am affectionately known as the "Junk Food Nazi" in my home. While my husband a sugar addict that is too far gone to be saved, my kids do not follow in their father's footsteps are far as diet is concerned. Sure, they will get the occasional sweet treat, but for the most part, I try and keep their snacks nutritious and wholesome. If you look through my pantry, you won't find cookies or chips or any other processed junk. We like fruits and veggies in this house. Or hummus... I adore hummus....Mmm... Yep, I am drooling! Another thing we really like to snack on are nuts. My personal favorite happens to be pistachios, so when offered the chance to review flavored pistachios from the folks at Sincerely Nuts I was very excited. After all, who wouldn't love garlic or jalapeno flavored pistachios? A nice, gourmet, savory treat! Or if pistachios aren't your thing, they also have plenty of other offerings such as dried fruits, trail mixes, and even decadent chocolates. Sincerely Nuts really does have something to please every palate. Last week, I went on my Step2 trip! Well, it was local, but I stayed in a fabulous hotel, ate great food, and got to tour the Step2 plant and even meet with the research and development team! I wish I had gotten more pictures, but I was actually in horrible amounts of pain the ENTIRE time... Yep, I have a bad inner ear infection, so while I had a good time, I was pretty miserable...Oh, and since it was a local trip, Dan and my kids came to see me! Added bonus! I always miss them while traveling!
