From Wattpad to Novel: How Anna Todd Created the #AfterSaga

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a novelist? How cool would it be to have millions of people hanging on your every word, enjoying the story that you have lovingly written? One day, I would love to write a book. I've been through a lot in my life, and have quite the story to tell. From surviving being raised surrounded by addiction, going through an abusive marriage, and even dating someone who would turn out to be a serial killer, my life is stranger than fiction in many ways. Perhaps someday I will get around to chronicling everything, but for now, my kids take up most of my free time. I wouldn't have it any other way. For now. 

One incredibly creative Texan, Anna Todd, never really planned on being an author. She had a pretty typical life, actually. She married her high school sweetheart at a young age, and then worked several jobs ranging from cosmetics expert to working with the agency we all love to hate, the IRS. (Cue sinister music.) 

Anna began writing during her spare time using a great free app called Wattpad. This app is perfect for those who love to spin their own tales, or for those of us who prefer to leave the writing to the experts and just read. Wattpad is a fantastic way to read OR write, and Anna has found amazing success using this app to craft her best-selling novel, "After".
