One of the things I love most about the transition into the fall season is the shift in fashions. Gone are the halter tops and bright colors of summer, making way for deep, rich hues and textures. I love all of the great wardrobe options for fall. Whether it be in skinny jeans, boots and a cardigan or a pretty sweater dress, fall is the season when women really seem to shine.

A huge part of fall fashion is accessories. I actually separate all of my handbags, hair accessories, and jewelry into different seasons. To me, fall accessorizing is all about colors, class, and elegance. I love jewel tones, earthy colors, and feminine detailing.

The awesome folks at Alexa's Angels sent me their Emma Rose Plaid Ruffle Purse to review. When it arrived, it was beautifully packaged. I felt like a kid at Christmas!

This chic little purse is made from a super-soft wool/polyester blend. It feels a lot like one of those cozy, warm pea coats that are so popular during the cooler months. It also features a satiny silver ruffle with burgundy trim, which is a flirty, feminine touch that I adore. The back of the purse is unadorned.

The interior of the bag is roomy, fully lined and has 2 pockets (one zippered pocket.) The purse is generously sized without being too big at 13.5" x 3.5" x 9". This is a nice size for everyday use as well as date night. You can easily store all of your essentials in this purse (with room to spare) without feeling weighed down. The purse closes with a magnetic snap closure that is quite secure.

Overall, I love my Emma Rose Plaid Ruffle Purse. As a matter of fact, I am taking it with me this evening when my husband and I have our first real "date night" in ages. We're going to see my Dad's band play at a local venue. I know this purse will go perfectly with the outfit I've chosen to wear!
