***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** My teenage son has a hollow leg or something. I swear, no matter how substantial his lunch was, he always complains that he's "starving" when he gets home from school. I have heard all those rumors of teen boys eating more than a small army, and in my home, they're definitely proving to be true! This kid can definitely eat, that's for sure. Rather than purchasing frozen or prepackaged snack foods, I prefer to serve my ravenous teen something a bit healthier. After all, my family does affectionately refer to me as the "Junk Food Nazi". Since I flat-out refuse to buy chips, snack cakes, or other processed crap, fruits, homemade granola, and veggies are favorites here. My kids don't complain, thankfully. Either they really enjoy my organic, healthy goodies, or they just don't want to experience the wrath of the All-Mighty Junk Food Nazi. In all seriousness, though, healthy after school snacks can be quick and easy to prepare. Sure, it's easy to grab a snack sized bag of chips and throw them to a hungry, complaining kids...But wouldn't you rather hand them a platter of crisp veggies at their peak of freshness and a delicious, homemade hummus for dipping? Me, too! Thankfully, with the help of my Tupperware Serving Center Set, I can have nutritious after school snacks ready at all times. I just get up in the morning, chop up my veggies, and prepare my almost-famous Roasted Garlic and Red Pepper Hummus. Then I load all my veggies into the compartments of my Serving Center, add my creamy hummus to the center container, and pop the lid on the unit for freshness. Then I toss the whole container into the fridge so when afternoon hunger pangs strike, I am ready to offer up a snack that's delicious and nutritious. The Tupperware Serving Center Set is perfect for preparing snacks and appetizers, and is super-portable, which also makes it ideal for entertaining. Outdoor parties and picnics, Holiday buffets...This is definitely a go-to product that makes my life as a mom so much easier. I have used this product both at home and on the go, and since it's so durable, I never have to worry about the lid popping off and food going everywhere. Oh! I should also mention that the center serving bowl is microwave-safe, which allows you to heat up any dips, sauces, etc. Pretty cool, right? If you'd like to try serving up one of our favorite after school snacks, just grab the veggies of you choice for your platter. We love fresh broccoli and cauliflower, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, and celery. Really, you can use anything, though. And here's my hummus recipe for a fabulously flavorful dipping experience: Finding healthier after school snacks that kids love can be a challenge. Fresh is always better, in my opinion, and with some weekly planning and kitchen helpers like the Tupperware Serving Center Set, you can have wholesome snacks available at all times. Try it! Your kids will be begging for their veggies in no time after tasting this simple snack!

The tupperware does do a great job of making this tasty snack even more appealing. I love making hummus, I haven't been roasting the garlic, and it would be better if I did, I want to try this recipe. I'd love to have this tupperware, too.
