You may remember I featured a review of the Aerobie Skylighter flying disc a couple of months ago. Well, Aerobie has a brand new product called the Megatop that I would like to share with you all. My 11 year old was very excited when this arrived on our doorstep, since he is so used to me receiving baby or women's products for review. He has grown to love the products from Aerobie, since they're challenging, fun, and a great way to keep active. The Megatop is no exception! This spinning top is a cut above an ordinary top. This top is specially designed to sustain long and fast spins due to the fact that is perimeter weighted. It also comes with a spin accelerator that allows the Megatop to easily achieve 3000+ rpm spin rates! (Holy cow!) If that wasn't cool enough, the Megatop also comes equipped with a catching plate and a spin booster, perfect for doing tricks and keeping the spin going for what feels like an eternity. Here are some of the Aerobie Megatop's key features:
Take a look at this short video showing how much fun your kids can have with the Aerobie Megatop! How cool is that?! This is not the sad little top I remember playing with when I was a kid, that's for sure! My son, Kyle, absolutely loves his Megatop and is trying to perfect his tricks. He is able to get it spinning at dizzying speeds, and has mastered using the sSpin Booster. Tossing and catching it on the catching plate? Ehhhh...Not so much yet. But with practice, I just know he'll be doing these tricks in no time at all!
I would definitely recommend the Megatop to any family who wants to keep their kids active and engaged. This is a ton of fun, and will definitely get a lot of laughs. The Aerobie Megatop is the perfect indoor activity now that the colder weather has set in! You can even get a few of them and have an afternoon Megatop Battle to see who can get the longest, fastest spins and who can do the most tricks! BUY IT: The Aerobie Megatop is recommended for ages 8 and up. It can be purchased on Amazon and retails for $9.99. WIN IT: One very lucky reader will be receiving an Aerobie Megatop of their own! Although, not exactly a toy, my favorite was my aquarium. Ditto, the pet spiders and caterpillars. At least they didn't bite me like the opossum I dragged home one day. Oh, and one time a snake I collected got loose in the house. I drove my mother crazy.

POGO stick was my favorite although looking back that thing was dangerous. I am lucky I never broke anything hopping around on that thing and falling off.
