***Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Zarbee’s Naturals. I received a promotional item and a product sample as a thank you for participating.*** I think it's finally safe to say, Old Man Winter has left the building. I hope so, at least. We did get some significant snowfall this month here in NE Ohio. Which was absolute craziness in my humble opinion. Anyway, the past week has been the perfect picture of spring with lots of sunshine, balmy temperatures, and a nice cool breeze. After such a long and miserable winter, we've all been spending a ton of time outdoors. Sophie and Xander, my little kids, love nothing more than heading out to the back yard to play on their wooden swing set or jump in their bounce castle. My 14 year old, Kyle, is a bit more adventurous and loves exploring all the natural wonders here in my small town. We've got a beautiful riverfront area complete with a boardwalk and some great views. We've also got loads of waterfalls and even a park that has old Native American caves and artwork. One such cave actually has a pretty cool history. A young settler named Mary Campbell was supposedly kidnapped by a tribe of Native Americans and lived in the cave with them for a few years. Pretty cool, right? But along with outdoor adventures comes seasonal suffering. I know all too well how miserable this time of year can be, as I have suffered from severe seasonal congestion for my entire life. Sadly, it must be hereditary, because Kyle seems to suffer as well. Anyone who knows me in real life or on my personal Facebook page knows I am passionate about finding all natural solutions to life's problems. I truly believe that Mother Nature provides us with everything we could ever need, and I have had great success with natural products. One of my favorite products this time of year is Zarbee's Naturals Seasonal Relief. This is intended for children and adults ages 12+ and is made from Butterbur Extract. This potent, plant-based ingredient has been used for centuries in Europe. Butterbur has a funny sounding name, doesn't it? Well it received this peculiar name because farmers used to wrap their butter in the large, heart-shaped leaves in order to preserve it. Butterbur grows wild near rivers and marshes worldwide. The extract that Zarbee's uses is organically farmed in Germany. Yep. It's organically sourced, so there are no worries about nasty chemicals, GMO's or pesticides when using this product. Both me and my son have been taking Zarbee's Naturals Seasonal Relief, and it's definitely a wonderful solution to seasonal suffering. I love the fact that there isn't any drowsiness associated with this product. Another great thing about it is that there are no risks of building up a tolerance or resistance to the active ingredients. (Have you ever had that happen? I have, and it stinks. Or it would, if I weren't so congested!) I would definitely recommend checking out the natural products from Zarbee's as you start venturing outdoors to enjoy the gorgeous weather. There's no reason that you should miss out on the beauty of the season because of seasonal congestion. Zarbee's Naturals Seasonal Relief can help you maintain an active outdoor lifestyle.
