We're going to a few gatherings this year, but the one I am most excited about is the Christmas party at my Dad and step-mom, Missy's house. You see, this is no small, family affair....My Dad is a real life rock star here in the Cleveland suburbs, and he has tons of friends. His house is sure to be rocking, and since we still don't know too many people here in Ohio, it will give us a chance to meet some new friends. Along with parties comes stressing about that perfect, party-worthy look. I always worry about being either completely overdressed, or being far too casual for the occasion. It always quite a bit of agonizing and second guessing before I decide on that one perfect look. This year, I think I have found the ultimate party outfit. Check out this gorgeous ruffled dress from eShakti. I just adore it! It's casual enough to fit into less formal gatherings while dressy enough to be great at a fancier affair. But, while the dress is fabulous, I have to admit I based this entire look off of the shoes alone. You see, the Vionic Olivia Ballet Flats are not only oh-so-chic looking, they're also super comfortable and will allow you to dance all night without any aches or pains. That's because they're equipped with Orthaheel technology, which provides amazing support to the feet while reducing heel, knee, leg and back pains. Pretty awesome, right? The Olivia Ballet flats are literally the perfect party flat. I am the type that usually wears heels just because I have found many flats to be very uncomfortable. It's kind of like walking with absolutely no arch support. Ouch! These beauties from Vionic provide all the support needed, and are extremely comfortable. These flats are very well made from the highest quality leather. Being the crazy cat lady that I am, I am simply in love with the fun, metallic leopard print, too. They're a versatile, neutral gold color that will go with so many different looks. I love them not only with dresses, but also with some cute skinny jeans, a nice top and a cardigan. The saucy leopard print gives just the right amount of attitude, too, so these babies can go from day to night effortlessly. I also love the pretty little bow. This is a fun, feminine detail. The Olivia Ballet Flats have a durable yet flexible patterned rubber sole. Yes, the pattern is pretty to look at, but it also adds more traction to these shoes. No slipping and falling while wearing these shoes! The Vionic Olivia Ballet Flats do take a little getting used to at first. Since they're specially designed by renowned Australian podiatrist, Phillip Vasyli, this shoe features biomechanical orthotic technology that supports your feet and helps realign the lower legs, reducing over-pronation and associated aches and pains. What does this mean in English? Well, they have a different type of fit so they feel different than you'd expect to experience out of a flat. Don't worry....After a few wears, you will get used to it and your feet might even thank you, along with your joints, back, and knees! Overall, I am quite happy with my Vionic Holiday Look. I know I will look classy and fun, and I will be able to dance, mingle and party all through the night in perfect comfort. No need to carry BandAids in my purse to cover blisters like I normally would when dressing up! Oh, I should mention that these shoes run a wee bit large, I think. I should have ordered a half-size smaller. So keep that in mind when ordering! How to Connect :
