So we've been dealing with the climate change, as well as fighting off nasty winter colds. (Not a fun combination!) It seems that whatever nasty cold has been going around has found residence in my home. We have all had cold symptoms for about a month. At first, we were all miserable and super sick, but now, there are just some lingering sniffles.
Now some friends and family call me a modern-day Hippie because I tend to look for natural and homeopathic remedies for minor illnesses rather than rush to the doctor right away or get "drugged up" on traditional over the counter medications. I would much prefer taking something created from nature, since I truly do believe that these remedies work extremely well, without the added risks or side-effects that their conventional counterparts have. (This is just my opinion, of course consulting your physician is always a good idea!)
Here are a couple Little Remedies that will come in handy during cold and flu season:
Little Remedies Honey Elixir :
Sophie's symptoms really improved using this product. She said it tasted good, which scores major brownie points, and her coughing lessened so she was able to sleep.
Little Remedies For Fevers Acetaminophen :
Little Remedies® is the very first children’s medicine brands to adopt a new AccuSafe® Dosing system for infant acetaminophen products. This Little Remedies® product uses our AccuSafe® system designed to ensure safe and accurate dosing and minimize the risk of accidental ingestion. Adults simply use the provided syringe, attach it to the flow restrictor on the bottle, invert the bottle and pull back on the syringe to extract the correct dosing amount.
Of course, always consult with your physician before using any products. But I can say that from my experience, natural ingredients like those found in Little Remedies products tend to work very well for my kids. They get relief, and I get peace of mind knowing my kids aren't getting any alcohol, saccharin, or any other unnecessary ingredients.
Have you tried Little Remedies products before? Did you like them? I'd love to hear all about it!
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Little Remedies. I received product samples as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
