My Opinion :
The awesome folks at DermOrganic sent me a variety of their products to try for myself. When I opened the box, I literally felt like a kid at Christmas. I am a beauty junkie with a stock-pile to prove it, so receiving so many wonderful, high-end products is always a treat! Plus, these products all contain Argan Oil, one of the most effective and luxurious ingredients nature has to offer.
I received so many awesome products, but I'd like to focus on the Daily Conditioning Shampoo and the Daily Hydrating Conditioner first. After all, these are the products that we all use every time we wash our hair!
The shampoo is awesome. It doesn't require much product to wash your hair, even if it's super thick like mine. It lathers beautifully, and has a mild, soap-like scent. Nothing overpowering for those with sensitivities to fragrances. It also rinses very well and leaves the hair feeling clean and soft, without any icky residue.
The Daily Hydrating Conditioner is equally fabulous. Again, not much product is needed, and it also has a very mild scent. This conditioner was easy to distribute and rinsed away clean, too. The result? Hair that is unbelievably soft, weightless, and shiny. (Thanks to the Argan Oil, of course!)
I also got to try the Intensive Hair Repair Masque and the Leave In Treatment. These are for those times, like after coloring, when your hair needs some extra TLC. I use these about once a week, since here in Ohio, the winter is bitterly cold and my hair tends to get a bit on the dry side. These products contain Omega-6, Antioxidants, Rice Keratin Amino Acids and Essential Lipids which help repair and protect hair and improve it’s elasticity.
The Masque is unlike other similar products because you don't need to leave it on for an eternity. This can be left on the hair for 1 minute. No, that is not a typo. ONE minute! Other hair masques I have tried require 20 minutes or so to get the job done. Well, I don't know about you, but I stay busy with the kids and don't always have the luxury of time. So the fact that the Intensive Hair Repair Masque works so quickly is amazing to me! This masque is easy to apply, rinses away fairly easily, and doesn't leave hair feeling oily or greasy. As a matter of fact, it really makes you feel like you've just left the salon! After using this, my hair is velvety soft, super-shiny, and feels wonderful to the touch.
The Leave In Treatment is much like the Masque, but requires no rinsing. It only takes a few drops to treat your entire head, and it absorbs quickly into the hair with no residue or build-up. It also can help speed drying time! (For me, that's kind of a big deal!) This Leave In Treatment can also act as a protective barrier when heat-styling. So if you straighten your hair, blow-dry, or even curl, this product is literally a secret weapon against heat damage and breakage. Oh, add the fact that it leaves hair soft, shiny, and static-free, and you've got an A++ from me!
I also got to test out a few styling products. I got the opportunity to put these to the test the other night when we went out to see my Dad's band play! I used the Firm Hold Volume Foam as well as the Fast Dry Shaping Spray, and I was thrilled to see that not only did they keep my style in place, they didn't leave my hair feeling dry or crunchy, like so many styling products tend to do.
