As all of you parents know, probably all too well, when you have kids, you end up with about a zillion toys. I have 2 toddlers, and I am constantly finding teensy, tiny little pieces from their toys all over the place. Sometimes they're between couch cushions, and sometimes my puppies are chewing them as if they were tender chunks of beef jerky. Or worse, I find myself stepping on them in the middle of the night. Trust me, Legos and Hot Wheel cars can really be dangerous weapons! Just ask my poor, injured feet!
That's why I was so thrilled when I received the opportunity to review the brand new Corvette Storage Chest from Step2. First off, I am a Step2 fanatic! If there's a 12 step program for addicts, please let me know so I can enroll immediately! Actually, this an addiction I like, so scratch that thought!
We actually have a huge area of our home devoted to our Step2 products. In one corner of our family room, we have our Grand Walk-In Kitchen, our Real Projects Workshop, and our Prepare & Share Kitchen. In another area, we have our Art Easel Desk and our Build & Store Block & Activity Table. You see, we separate the area into stations dedicated to specific activities. This is a little trick I learned while working in the public school system. It allows structured, creative play, and also allows kids to keep their areas more organized.
Anyway, back to the Corvette Storage Chest! This product offers the perfect storage solution for all your little ones' toys, books, clothing, and more! It's quite roomy, very durable, and exhibits the superior quality that Step2 is so well known for. This storage chest comes in 2 pieces and has an easy to maneuver lid, which is perfect for little hands to operate.
It's also very attractive, with a sleek, black and red appearance. It is also an Official GM Licensed Product and showcases the oh-so-popular Corvette logo and flags! My husband is a total car buff, so he immediately commented on how neat this automotive design is. I don't know who it's more perfect for, my son or my husband! They both seem to like it an awful lot!
As a Mom, and not as big of an automotive enthusiast, I immediately noticed the amount of space within this storage chest. It's so very roomy, and large enough to hold tons of toys! This gets major brownie points from me, since it will keep toys off of my floor for once. Yay!

Overall, we love our Step2 Corvette Storage Chest! It's so much fun, and it's definitely functional, too! The really cool part? Step2 also makes other coordinating Corvette pieces to complete the look! I think I will definitely have to invest in the Corvette Toddler to Twin Bed With Lights and the Corvette Dresser for Xander's room. He'd be the coolest kid on the block and the envy of all his little friends!
