Halloween is only 11 days away! Can you believe it?! This month has passed by so quickly. We still need to go get our candy for the Trick-Or-Treaters, but we've got our costumes ready to go. Sophie is going to be a pretty, pink princess, Xander will be a garden gnome, and Kyle is going to create his own costume, which will be unveiled on All Hallow's Eve. I can't wait to see what he came up with! Dan and I are dressing up, too. I am not entirely sure which of my many costumes I will choose to wear, but it will probably something that won't cause me to freeze to death in this Ohio cold. Dan is going to be a ninja. (What else?!)

Thanks to the awesome folks at PetSmart, our pups will be all decked out this year, too! That's right...Even fur-babies can get into the spook-tacular festivities with their very own Halloween costumes for pets  from PetSmart. We love PetSmart and go there often to get supplies for our Shih-Tzu, Bear, our Yorkie, Trouble, and even our new addition, a sweet Lab/Shepard mix named Snickers. (Yes, Dan finally got his big dog! She may be small now, but not for long!) PetSmart carries all of our favorite toys, foods, grooming supplies, and so much more. The thing I love the most would have to be the fact that we're welcome to bring our furry friends shopping with us while we shop. It just doesn't get much better than that!

Since the folks at PetSmart know I love my fur-babies, they generously sent me a couple of Halloween costumes for them! We received this adorable Bret Michaels Rockin' Yer Booty Pirate Tee for Trouble and a Pumpkin Halloween costume from Top Paw. How stinking cute are these?!

Our costumes arrived quickly and were very well packaged. I ordered an XS in both styles, but I probably could have gotten away with a Small. My pups seem to be growing quickly, so a small would have fit better, I think. Regardless, they both look adorable in their Halloween get-ups from PetSmart!

Check out Trouble in her pirate tee! We added a red and black tutu for added effect. She really didn't seem to mind being dressed up, even though it was visibly awkward for the first couple of minutes. Once she realized that her clothing wasn't attacking her, she calmed down and went about business as usual.

Bear, our Shih-Tzu, is a lot more laid back than Trouble is. In fact, he's a big lazy oaf in a little dog's body! The pumpkin costume was so easy to dress him in since it simply wraps around the dog and velcros into place. I was surprised that it closed around all of his fur, but it did so with ease. Bear is a total ball of fur, and is probably one of the fluffiest dogs I've ever seen!

Bear was completely content to be dressed up. He didn't even seem to notice it! (I wish Trouble would take a lesson from him!) The costume stayed in place very well and was simple to remove. His fur didn't even get caught in the velcro closures.

Overall, I couldn't be any more thrilled with our Halloween costumes from PetSmart. They're trendy, easy to dress our dogs in and very easy to clean. The dogs seemed quite comfortable in them, too! I think we just may need to take them out trick-or-treating with us in the neighborhood this year. Maybe having cute puppies all dressed up for the festivities will score my kids a little extra candy! Who knows, maybe a nice neighbor will even have special doggy treats to hand out!

I would definitely recommend PetSmart for all of your pet needs, whether they be for Holidays or just everyday.
