It's my favorite time of year...even though I am older than dirt, I still enjoy my birthday, the smell of ginger, cinnamon, cloves and pumpkin in the kitchen...and getting geared up for holiday shopping! (we have to hit the sales and save early) My sisters and I always have a fall weekend getaway to just chill...that is the best part of all.

The crisp air and a pot of chilli on the stove, Friday night football games and the start of holiday shopping. Celebrating a few family birthdays. The dogs playing in the leaves. Knowing our electric and gas bill is lower for a couple months, neither using heat or air conditioning. LOL!
