I love Simple Green products. I use them for...Well...Everything! I especially love their original formula. It's non-toxic, so it's completely safe to use around my kids and pets. I don't have to be afraid of nasty chemicals harming my family. This allows me to breathe a sigh of relief, since most traditional cleaners are loaded with harsh, potentially harmful chemicals.

It also works wonders, even on the toughest cleaning jobs. Simple Green is incredibly versatile, and can be used on most surfaces, indoor and out. You can even customize the strength to suit the job at hand. For normal household cleaning, you can "dumb it down" and use a weaker solution. For tough jobs like de-greasing tools in the garage, you would use a heavier concentration.

They even have an amazing line of pet products! These cat and dog formulas easily remove even the most stubborn of pet stains and odors. Let's face it: Pets can make some serious messes. I love using Simple Green products to help banish the unpleasantness my Yorkie leaves behind as we try, seemingly in vain, to housebreak her!

Since I have been a long time Simple Green fan, you'd better believe I was absolutely thrilled when I learned they have added a new Laundry detergent to their already fabulous line of products! In a home with a preteen boy, 2 messy toddlers, a husband that works in the automotive field, and 2 dogs, we do a LOT of laundry. It seems like I haven't actually seen the bottom of my laundry basket in...Wow...years! (Sadly, this is not an exaggeration!)

Simple Green Laundry Detergent is sold in a generous, 100oz bottle. This means 100 loads in an HE machine or 66 loads in the standard top-loading machine. Now that's a lot of laundry! This detergent is plant-based and contains absolutely no added scents or dyes, allergens, asthmagens, phosphates, chlorine or optical brighteners. It is perfect even for those with sensitive skin, and is gentle on clothing, yet tough on stains. It's also biodegradable, and can be used in both hot and cold water!

Simple Green Laundry Detergent is also eco-friendly! It's never, ever tested on animals, and it comes in a recyclable bottle. 64% of the total carbon content is plant derived, earning the USDA Certified Biobased Product seal, too!

Now I wish I could show you a photo of some stained clothing before and after trying this detergent, but I can't. You see, we're moving on Saturday, so pretty much all of our clothing, minus a few essentials, are already packed. However, I did get the opportunity to try this detergent in a less conventional way. We made the mistake of leaving some Sharpie permanent markers in the reach of our toddlers. They got ahold of a bright red marker and drew ALL OVER our carpet! I almost had a panic attack, since I had no idea how I would get this horrible stain out!

So I used some of the Simple Green Laundry Detergent on the affected area. I was shocked by how much of the permanent marker was removed with just one application! There is a small amount still visible, but I plan to treat it again a few times before we leave. I am confident that a couple more applications will do the trick!

Overall, I am very happy with the effectiveness of Simple Green Laundry Detergent. Like all of their other amazing products, this does the job fast! I can't wait till after the move and I can start using this on our clothing. I can even use it on our cloth diapers, since there aren't any yucky additives in the detergent to ruin my diapers!

The downside? Simple Green Laundry Detergent isn't available in stores just yet....But that doesn't mean you can't get some of your own!
