Well, summer is finally at a close. The kids are all back at school, bathing suits are being packed away, and we're settling back into our normal, school year routine. I am loving it, since it means I can focus more on getting our new home in order during school hours, and pray that my toddlers don't make my house look like a hurricane ripped through it as I try and unpack. Ahhh, the joys of parenthood. The work...Oops, I mean fun, never ends!
Now that fall is here, another thing I've been thinking about is Halloween. I am very excited this year since my babies are old enough to have some fun with this much-loved holiday. I am looking for costumes, and have found some really adorable ones. Xander is going to be a Gnome. (review to come!) and I am still searching for Sophie's costume. Kyle says he is too old for dressing up since he is "not a child anymore". It's funny...The last time I checked, 12 was certainly still a child, but what do I know?
I am also thinking about throwing a Halloween bash for the neighborhood kids. Our area is full of children, and this would be a great way to meet and get to know some of our new neighbors. Kyle has made a ton of new friends, so I think it would be fun to have them and their families over for some Witches Brew, spooky games, and of course, creepy music.

That's why I was so excited when the awesome folks at Kidz Bop asked me to review their latest installment, Halloween Hits. This CD, like all Kidz Bop CD's, features fun songs songs performed by the Kidz Bop singers! This CD is a blast, and has current songs like "Disturbia" as well as classics like "Scooby Doo" and "Thriller".
My kids absolutely love the Kidz Bop Halloween Hits CD. Sophie and Xander dance around and squeal when it's on, and they even try and sing along to the Scooby Doo theme song. They have listened to this CD several times in the past week, and it's really getting us psyched about Halloween! They also love the spooky party sounds, which is an added bonus on this CD.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Kidz Bop Halloween Hits for all of those costume parties this season. It would also be a wonderful soundtrack to use while passing out candy to all the neighborhood ghouls and goblins!
