I can hardly believe that in only 6 days, we will be moving into our new home in Ohio. 6 DAYS! I still feel like there's no way we're going to get everything packed in time, and to be honest, I am more than a little bit stressed out lately.

It seems that the list of things that must be done to prepare for the move is never-ending. Packing, cleaning, setting up installation for utilities, and figuring out what I need to do to enroll Kyle in school has all been pretty overwhelming.Lately I have been wishing I had an assistant to help with all of the leg-work!

Also, there are all of the plans for our home once we arrive. There is some hideous floral wallpaper in the living room that has got to go, and then there's the issue of having central air conditioning installed. I've also got to get ready for my brand new Maytag Kitchen Appliances to arrive! (Yes, still very excited to be selected for the Maytag Moms Kitchen Ambassador program!) We may need to remove a cabinet entirely to make room for my fancy new French Door Refrigerator!

Another thing I am stressing over just a bit is the fact that our new home has gorgeous old hardwood flooring throughout most of it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the floors. A lot. However, I am very worried about what my incredibly stubborn Yorkie, Trouble, might do to the floors. You see, she has not been the easiest animal to house-break. Yorkies are known for being very difficult in this respect, and Trouble is certainly living up to both her name and her breed's characteristics.

Sure, she may look completely innocent and adorable snuggled up to Sophie asleep...But as we all know, looks can be deceiving! Trouble has the tendency to use the restroom pretty much where and whenever the urge hits her. She does pretty well with puppy pads, but sometimes misses them by about an inch. Pet messes and nice wood floors do not get along. So once we move into our new home, we're going to work extra hard with Trouble on her potty-training.
That's precisely why when my friends over at OUT! Pet Care Products wanted to send me some of their new pet care products, I was thrilled. The timing couldn't have possibly been better! I think Erica, who is always a joy to work with, must be psychic and knew I was ready for some great puppy-training solutions for my new home!

I received some of the OUT! Moisture Lock Puppy Training Pads in both the regular package as well as in the new "Pull-N-Go" package. This new packaging is pretty darn awesome, in my humble opinion. Think of it almost like a container of baby wipes. You simply grab one pad and pull it out, all in one swift motion. Then the next pad pops up, ready to grab quickly when you sense a puppy emergency about to take place. Easy, peasy!
I love OUT! Moisture Lock Training Pads. They're actually the most technologically advanced training pads on the market! Why? Well, check out these awesome features that make dogs everywhere give them 2 paws up!

  • 50% more absorbent thanks to super absorbent polymers
  • Rapid-drying top sheet reduces unsanitary tracking
  • Powerful attractant draws pets directly to pad
  • 40 times more absorbent than newspaper
  • Antimicrobial odor neutralizers help keeps your home smelling fresh
It just doesn't get much better than that! I especially love the fact that these super-absorbent pads actually draw a pet to them. This comes in very handy when you've got a very stubborn pup! They also don't smell bad, even when they're soiled. I have left these out for Trouble when I went shopping or running errands, and when I returned home, I wasn't greeted by the overwhelming stench of urine. They're also very, very absorbent, so even pups with tiny bladders who need to go frequently can make several pit stops before you'll need to change the pad.

I also love OUT! Pet Care's stain and odor removers. These cleaning solutions come in a few different  varieties. The ones I have used are the  Stain and Odor Remover and Oxy-Fast Stain and Odor Remover.
Here's how they work:

OUT! Stain and Odor Remover
Proven and powerful – unwanted stains have met their match with this advanced stain and odor remover.

  • Removes stains and odors permanently with a proven natural pro-bacteria and enzyme formula
  • Removes pheromones that cause pets to revisit and resoil spots
  • Renders allergens harmless on contact
  • Effective on old and new problem areas

OUT! Oxy-Fast™ Stain and Odor Remover
Say “bye-bye” to stains and odors and “hello” to cleaner carpet. This oxidizing power completely removes the hardest pet stains and odors.

  • Completely removes pet stains and odors, including urine, vomit, feces, pheromones and blood
  • Works on old and new problem areas
  • Great for other household stains, including dirt, grass, coffee and more
  • Use also as laundry pre-treat
These stain and odor removers really do live up to their promises! I have used them on carpet, on furniture, and even as a laundry pre-treater when the dogs have soiled our throw blankets. They're easy to use, work to remove stains and odors quickly and effectively, and even help prevent chronic re-soiling of an area.

Overall, I am a huge fan of OUT! Pet Care Products. I know they'll help make Trouble's transition to our new home so much easier, and hopefully will also help protect our beautiful hardwood flooring from getting ruined by pet messes. I plan on adding to my OUT! arsenal by picking up some of their OUT! Go Here! Housetraining Aid for Puppies as well as some OUT! Bitter Cherry Spray to help keep chewing to a minimum, too!

Try not to become to overwhelmed ,just try to take it a day at a time. Do a priority list for each day. something like a goal list and cross off each thing . I just moved to a new house about 3 weeks ago from another city and OMG I know the stress you feel .I was trying to pack while my 3 and 4 year were trying to unpack and then dont let me get started with my husband organizing skills which consists of a garbage bag and whatever fits goes in. then a little over a year ago we moved from another state.(in less than a week .packing, cleaning and all) OMG do I know how you feel.
