Well, folks, I have been using this product for 3 months now, and I have to admit, these claims are completely and totally factual. While I don't have any problems with thinning hair, I have gone through back to back pregnancies in the past few years, and I noticed that my hair had changed. Of course there was the shedding due to hormonal issues after childbirth, and once that finally ceased, my hair just didn't feel the same. It wasn't as full or bouncy as I was used to.
When I started taking Viviscal, I didn't expect to notice results quickly. I figured it would take the full 3 months to notice any change. Much to my surprise, I started noticing my hair was softer and shinier within just 4-5 days of using the product. I also noticed that my nails were growing much more rapidly and that they were stronger. The only downside was that I also noticed that I had to shave my legs more often. I guess Viviscal helps ALL hair grow, not just the hair we'd like to have grow.
Now I have very thick, wavy hair that is also very long. When I started taking this supplement, my hair was about 3-4 inches above my butt. Now, I can actually sit on my hair, which I discovered completely by accident. (Ouch!) So that's around 4 inches of new growth in just 3 months. Wow! I have also noticed that my hair feels fuller, and has a bit more bounce to it. It's not as brittle feeling, either!
