The KinderGlo also is super simple to recharge, since it comes with a convenient charging base. No need to eat through countless batteries! I have to say, I am pretty wary of products that take small batteries, since Sophie actually swallowed a button battery from a child's toy last Mother's Day. This is something that parents need to be vigilant about, and with the KinderGlo, I do not fear for my children's safety.

Xander, my 1 year old, also loves the KinderGlo. He, too, was able to change the colors and squealed with delight as he changed it from red to purple to blue and to green. He especially loves the rainbow mode, and will sit staring at the color changes, giggling wildly. He has pretty much taken over the KinderGlo, and insists on having it nearby as he settles down for a nap. If only they had Kinder-Twins! Then my babies wouldn't have to fight over their elephant friend!
