I received a FuzziBunz OS Diaper in Crushed Berries for my review. I am a HUGE fan of FuzziBunz diapers, since their sizing system is so unique. There are adjustable elastics in the waist and thigh areas, which allow you to find the absolute perfect fit with no guesswork involved. You simply find the right fit and make a mental note of the "number" you've set it to, and voila! You've got a perfectly fitting, trim looking diaper! These dipes fit babies from 7-35lbs. I was so excited to receive a girly diaper for review. You see, I never buy feminine diapers, since my other baby is a boy and that just wouldn't be nice to HIM. But I love pinks, purples, and floral dipes, and get giddy when I have the opportunity to review them!
I tested the FuzziBunz OS Diaper during the day and overnight on my active, heavy wetting toddler. I was quite impressed by the ease of sizing, and just how superior the fit of this diaper is. There were no red marks on her chubby thighs, and I was able to achieve a relatively trim fit using this diaper. This is great, since I can easily get her pants on over top of it. This is sometimes a challenge with cloth, and I end up having to put her in clothing that is a size or two too large, just to accommodate her "fluff butt".
During the day, the FuzziBunz OS Diaper performed very well. My daughter is incredibly active, and this diaper held in wetness and worse, despite her constant running, jumping, twirling, and climbing. Due to their fabulous sizing options, the fit was absolutely secure and kept everything in the diaper where it belongs. No creeping out from the thighs or up her back at all.
The FuzziBunz also performed just as well for overnight use. I did use 2 inserts overnight, as Sophie is a very heavy wetter. She has woken up to a visibly damp diaper many, many times, so I feel it's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to my baby girl! I was thrilled to find that the FuzziBunz not only held in her tidal wave of overnight pee, it also remained dry to the touch. No wet sleeper, and no cold, unhappy baby! Success!
Overall, I am definitely impressed by the FuzziBunz OS Diaper. The fit is unbelievably good, and it protects very well against leaks. I also definitely appreciate that FuzziBunz includes 2 inserts with their diapers, as well as the extra elastic. This is a little added insurance should you have one of the sizing elastics break. I doubt that will be an issue for a long, long time, as they are quite sturdy to begin with. I would definitely recommend FuzziBunz OS Diapers to anyone looking for a versatile, effective, and durable diaper that can take baby all the way from birth to potty!
